ABOUT
The Operational Solutions Group was founded by Jamie Shaw and Daniel Smale-Saunders. With experience of government and private sector security, risk and intelligence, they developed a diligent approach to analysing complex situations and identifying practical solutions.

TOSG was set up as a one-stop-shop for all client needs - a departure from the frustrating experience of managing multiple vendors. As a team, we have always been willing to challenge the status quo in the quest for improvement. We listen carefully to client requirements and devise bespoke solutions accordingly.

We believe every business has a responsibility to develop their employees. Employers who provide opportunities to develop skills are not only able to cultivate a more engaged workforce, but also increase productivity. Meanwhile, those who fail to acknowledge desires for growth often find themselves with a disengaged workforce or stuck in a costly cycle of recruitment. Investment in your employees is therefore an effective strategy to strengthen your business.
Our business is all about your business.
We provide a comprehensive range of cost-effective business resilience services and capacity building courses to support successful business outcomes.

BIOS
JAMIE SHAW
Jamie is a risk and intelligence professional who over the last 15 years has provided bespoke services to governments and leading global organisations. Jamie started his career in the British Intelligence Corps, then left to provide Risk Consultancy across Africa and was the Operations Manager for Assaye Risk where he coordinated and oversaw programmes worldwide.

His approach to business resilience often tries to enhance the features already found in organisations to support existing ways of working. This aligns with Jamie’s philosophy to develop solutions through partnerships to achieve mutual objectives.

Using this approach Jamie revised the risk management processes of a global electronics company to directly reduce risk exposure on a strategic government programme. Working closely with the Board of a national oil company, he helped to develop the strategic security risk management framework for a 25km2 government-regulated critical national infrastructure site. Jamie has also trained and created intelligence fusion cells which have investigated and gathered evidence for use in legal proceedings resulting in the recovery of millions of dollars.

Jamie is a member of the Association of Security Consultants and his research into risk communication during his MSc in Security and Risk Management was short-listed for two British security industry awards: the Wilf Knight and Imbert Prize.
DANIEL SMALE-SAUNDERS
